Week 1: Introduction

Week 1: Introduction

I studied my BA at Falmouth between 2006-2009. My work at that time was a personal reflection into the death of my Aunt on 9/11. As this project was something so personal I found it incredibly difficult to make any work after this for a few years. I moved to London and became a photographers assistant working with photographers such as Ryan McGinley,  and Igor Borisov. I then took a job as staff photographer at University of Bath which was a very corporate role where I had little or no creative input. I am now a freelance photographer working for corporate clients and advertising agencies between Bath and London.

I guess I would say my work was documentary, but am looking forward to looking at it in a far more theoretical way and hope to improve on my critical thinking about photography, whilst developing my own personal aesthetic.
