I found this show Iconoclasts: Art out of the mainstream by accident and was strangely drawn to these images by Thomas Mailaender. His mixture of Cyanotypes and then the harshly lit portraits of people with projections on themselves were fascinating. These images titled "Illustrated people" with a number filled me with curiosity. The projections on them were interesting but also quite random and made me wonder whether they were dictated by the photographer of the sitter. Perhaps it was a collaboration? I seem to be more and more coming across this idea of collaborator work. This could continue form my work with my grandmother onto other peoples family albums.
